Organised by the Hsing Yun Education Foundation (HYEF) under its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program, the On Life and Death: A Humanistic Buddhism Perspective workshop brought together experts from Buddhist Life and Death, healthcare, law, education, and spiritual care to explore the meaning of life and death through the lens of Humanistic Buddhism. 

With HYEF’s leadership and the generosity of our donors, this three-day residential workshop at Nan Tien Temple guided participants to engage deeply with Buddhist philosophy, mindfulness, and ethics while reflecting on end-of-life care, loss, and renewal. The dialogue inspired compassionate understanding and practical wisdom that participants could apply in their professional and personal lives. 

This workshop exemplifies HYEF’s commitment to lifelong learning — transforming Buddhist wisdom into compassionate action for a more mindful and caring society.
