Music is a unifying tool that has the power to connect hearts and minds, defying the boundaries of race, religion, and culture. Hsing Yun Education Foundation endeavours to support the expression of music in its many forms, in the hope that it will unify us all and continue to help spread joy, peace, and hope for the future.

HYEF, in collaboration with the Australia-China Institute for Arts and Culture (ACIAC), presented a unique and uplifting concert for the Buddha’s birthday on the 5th of April 2021. The concert successfully established a multicultural environment where different communities were able to unite across music in a time of global crisis. In addition, it generated a space of learning for people across different cultures to experience a range of music styles, while also witness the interconnection of music and Humanistic Buddhist values. The concert ultimately offered the Buddha, along with everyone who attended, a gift of wonderful music and culture.
